Dr. C R Shetty is the chairperson of the Brindavan Group of Institutions and the Group Medical Director of NMC Healthcare. Along with her husband, Dr. B. R. Shetty, she has been a pioneer in establishing and developing the private healthcare sector in the UAE. Dr. C R Shetty has been instrumental in establishing Centers of Excellence in various units of NMC Healthcare. She has been actively involved in the conception, planning, design, execution, and management of different healthcare facilities, and driving critical healthcare initiatives. Under her leadership, NMC Specialty Hospitals in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Al Ain have received accreditation from the Joint Commission International (JCI).

There is an artificial football turf on BGI Campus which is one of the largest in the surrounding area. Our students have represented the college at National and State Level in various categories of sports. Apart from football the campus has a cricket ground with practice nets, volleyball courts, badminton, table tennis, kho-kho and kabaddi facilities.
